Review of House of the Dead (2003) by Sjwilkin — 25 Sep 2016

I spend most of my childhood playing House of the Dead in the arcades so you can imagine how excited I was when this movie was announced (I was 19 when it was released). Was my excitement and faith repaid? Er no.

This was quite possibly the worst 'movie' I have ever ever seen. It makes no sense at all. The zombies know kung fu and there is no house. NO HOUSE! At some points during the movie there are snippets of the game spliced in!! Probably to remind you what you are watching.

This of course was the introduction of Uwe Boll - the infamous director who would go on to achieve the title of 'worst movie director of all time'.
