Review of House of Dark Shadows (1970) by Lotti K — 11 May 2012
Enjoyable effort from unheralded genre director Dan Curtis. Barnabas Collins comes back to his old haunt to wreak havoc once more. While this vampiric effort lacks the bite of better Curtis work.such as Night Stalker and Dracula with Jack Palance, the Collins tale is easy to embrace.
Barnabas is one tough undead hombre, even as he seeks release from his curse.
