Review of Hour of the Wolf (1968) by Burton — 12 Oct 2007
I've never understood how anyone could say that this is a weaker Bergman... He explores the horror of creation, and the depths of insanity, and internal torment like none of his other films, and in my opinion, touches on personal "horror" more effectively than any of his others, even "Cries and Whispers".
