Review of Hotel Rwanda (2004) by Xavier C — 25 Jan 2015
Paul's story is a very powerful one. As a character, he has a great development arc and very defined personal traits: he is clever, strong, a caring father and husband, and perhaps too kind for his own good. One particularly emotional scene shows Don Cheadle's ability as an actor.
The events are paced about as well as a true story can be. I feel like it is a shame that it took me this long to find out about the terrible events that took place in Rwanda, and I feel better having seen this inspirational story come as a result.
