Review of Horsemen (2009) by Renni V — 03 Jan 2011
This movie was interesting to me. While others stated that they could predict the end, I did not. Also, everyone compared this to "Seven". Loved that movie but I did not see the similarity other than the religious references.
To me, it was more related to "Children of the Corn". This movie was an intriguing story with a message/lesson. Quaid plays the part of a frazzled, depressed workaholic. He is great in this.
The scene with Zhang and Quaid in the interrogation room is powerful as well as revealing to the true depths of the resentment and anger brewing in this group of young people. Must see film.
