Review of Horror Express (1972) by John M — 27 Mar 2012
Chris Lee and Peter Cushing fight a zombie-making missing-link on Telly Savalas' trans-Siberian railroad. It is better than a good deal of Hammer's back half, though Cushing and Lee are kept rather subdued.
Savalas shows up late but goes all out in a wildly overdone performance. A bit of gore and a bit of mystery. Excellent art direction and sound.
