Review of Hopscotch (1980) by Brian C — 17 Sep 2007
Probably the most unique spy movie made - not a single character is killed, let alone harmed. Matthau, as always, is wonderful to watch, very entertaining, and backed up by a (mostly) terrific cast comprised of Sam Waterston and Ned Beatty.
Unfortunately, Matthau's son (playing CIA agent Leonard Ross) and daughter (a charter pilot) don't quite have their father's talent or charisma, but don't bring down the movie all that much.
All in all, a very fun, satisfying chase movie.
