I love this movie! Probably my all time favorite comedy. Lots of clever banter between Matthau and Jackson really make this movie. And Ned Beatty plays the perfect anal bureaucrat foil to Matthau's everyman.
If, you only like stupid funny movies, you might not get this movie. Extremely well cast, well edited and fast paced with terrific acting by Matthau and Jackson and Beatty in particular. 10/10 doesn't get any better than this IMO.
A movie that doesn't rely on over the top special effects and action to keep you mesmerized and laughing. The early scenes in Salzburg are especially killer but great front to finish. I miss Walter!
