Review of Hoot (2006) by Adam G — 27 May 2008
I can't believe this is the only movie I have seen since I left school. If you are a Jimmy Buffett fan then you will like this movie because he did the soundtrack and his acting scenes were minimal.
It was based on a book by the writer who wrote Holes (also made into a movie) so it did have that going for it. Luke Wilson was his usual self and Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, etc) was entertaining. The young actor (Logan Lerman) who played the lead was good, and overall it was a predictable yet enjoyable kids movie.
