Hoot is a disapointing film. I read the book an I loved it. But the film was just, eeehhh! The director did a terrible job directing and writing the screenplay for this film because he focused more on a different direction than the book itself.
The acting is pretty average. But if you loved the book, then you will probably not like this film. 1 out of 5.
