Hoosiers has incredible depth of character combined with incredible performances, and despite, this movie being a common underdog story entralls not just all kinds of audience. Gene Hackman proves to be perfect for the role of coach.
His inspiring words not only inspire the basketball players, but the viewers also. What makes this film better is that it is based on a true story. The setting of the 1950s is perfect and there's almost no flaws.
A true classic.
