Rose Leslie is phenomenal as she is taken over by this story. It's captivating from start to finish, albeit the first act was a bit long but necessary to get you in the mood, so to speak. A little rushed and cliche at the end as the hero stumbles on every bit of information right as he needs it.
The film pulls no punches though and is a genuine scare.
