Review of Honeymoon (2014) by Carlos I — 18 Feb 2017

I think this has more in common with films such as "Evil Dead" and "Blue Valentine" rather than David Cronenberg's "The Brood". It has some really interesting ideas and the two lead performances are convincing.

However, I found the execution unsatisfying and there were parts in it that felt out of place. It's a solid directorial debut for sure and has a lot of good things in it, but overall I can't say I liked the film.
