Review of Home Alone 4 (2002) by Kate Lynn K — 19 Dec 2007
There is a complete new cast in this one(again). the bad duo(marv an his wife) are poorly casted. the actor playing marv acts a lot more like Ernest, and one look at the villaness should prove that her acting capability does not exceed jr.
High. I am actually quite impressed with the kid who plays kevin; he handles the part very well. but the only actor with any credability what so ever is Eric Avai who play the butler. this time kevin visits his his dad and step mom at a luxurious smart house, only to find marv and his wife ploting to kidnapp a visiting prince; natrualy no one belives him.
unfortunatly the 4th instalment brings little originality to the table. over all it is a slow-paced film which lacks the the charm of it's predessesors, which, as far as I can tell is due to the absense of screenwriter John Hughes and a half-way decent budget.
