As a kid it was much more enjoyable, but still is pretty awesome! I cannot stand Macaulay Culkin today (Party Monster ruined it for me), but him in "Home Alone", "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York", "Uncle Buck", and "Richie Rich", those were very good roles for him.
That said, the movie is great from beginning to end, and it doesn't get old. Everyone in the film, including John Candy and Catherine O'Hara, play their parts well!
