Review of Home Alone (1990) by Mike V — 19 Dec 2018
I always come back to this movie every holiday season. MaCaulay Culkin captures the innocence of an eight year old boy but is also brilliant with his maneuvers towards the neighborhood burglers. The film is highly hilarious, but what really gets me is the interaction with Kevin and the man he is afraid of.
I cry every single time and I believe Home Alone truly captures the spirit of Christmas. This film is an instant classic and one that I never fail to come back to. Additionally, the music and cinematography is a masterpiece.
I'm not sure why the reviews aren't as positive.
