Review of Holy Motors (2012) by Marius C — 30 Sep 2013

I'm not usually a fan of surrealist movies unless they are drug-induced head trips but Holy Motors pretty much opened the door to how entertaining and emotional a movie like this can be. I also acknowledge that only world-class actors can be in movies like this although I'll admit that Eva Mendes gave an awkward performance while Kylie Minogue was phenomenal.

But Denis Lavant is capable of giving a thousand great performances. Recommended to the open-minded...
