Review of Holmes & Watson (2018) by Missy E — 27 Dec 2018

Intelligent = no. Some seriously funny moments = heck yeah! This is in the vein of Stepbrothers and Talladega Nights, in that same jokes fall flat and make you groan, while others can catch you off guard with genuine, silly humor.

There were plenty of laughs all across the theater. While it is a shame to have brilliant talents like Coogan and Fiennes in such under-utilized roles, this main cast throws themselves into each goofy scene with full abandon.

Don't expect too much and you will likely enjoy this film!
