Review of Holmes & Watson (2018) by Pat F — 11 Jan 2019

Every person at some time has asked themselves: "How did anyone think this was funny?" Holmes and Watson will make you ask this question every 5 minutes. Most of the skits in the film have been done 10 times over and some of them were not funny the first time you saw them in earlier representations.

The sad truth is Will Farrell is one of those comedians who is only funny 50% of the time. He needs help to be funny and it seems he got no help here. John C. Riley is in the same boat and as a result this ship sinks fast.

Making it to the end of this film is very hard, so take my advice and go into watching this with low expectations. The lower you go the more possibility you might laugh, I'm not promising that though.
