Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Scott W — 20 Apr 2008
A lot of this movie is strong -- Adrien Brody is terrifically slimy as the private eye. Both the Affleck and Brody stories are interesting. The negatives: Affleck's accent seems to change partway through the movie, and the ending was not satisfying.
Not wonderful, but certainly better than The Black Dahlia -- so I'll recommend it.
