Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by James D — 03 May 2008
More like Hollywoodshit. I watched the beginning of the movie twice and turned it off. The third time I gave it a chance and paid closer attention. The beginning is hard to sit through. I didn't know I had been watching 50% flashbacks until almost half way through the movie (not sure if they were trying to hide it or what).
Once you get past the first 20 minutes it starts to get interesting but you only get to see pieces of interestingness, not enough. I would have liked to see more about George Reeves (even played by Ben Affleck).
The worst part of the movie though is when you get to the end and ask "Why did I watch that?".
