Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Ryan B — 15 Sep 2009
Interesting for about an hour or so. The characters, especially George Reeves, are really interesting in the beginning. It starts off mysterious, has a nice noir feel to it, and also has a good side story of how terrible show business really is.
However, the movie takes an atomic bomb like decent into mediocrity shortly before the 3rd act. It's sad, but you really want Superman to kill himself by the end of it. I just wanted to go to bed.
