Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Eric V — 24 Aug 2008
Who knew that Ben Affleck could actually act? "Hollywoodland" is a film that masterfully displays Affleck's versitility as an actor, but the movie does not follow a coherent plot as it bounce from present tense to past tense to to present tense to past tense, and the film isn't quick about it either, the film is very slow and tedious, the relatively short running time of 2 hours and 6 minutes felt like 3 hours, making this movie feel like a Peter Jackson epic as opposed to a compelling and revolutionary biopic of TV's original Superman, George Reeves.
Worth seeing once and that's it.
