This big problem with this film is the structure. We start with small little funny segments. But soon one of them turns into a long one, then a short musical and it all ends up with a longer one again.
This movie would work much better with samll segments all the way through and if Mel had kept the story to the historical facts. But nontheless it is funny. Especially the Moses-segment and the end of the Antic Rome-segment.
