Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by Adam Z — 20 Sep 2007
Eastwood's own take on his infamous "Man With No Name" character turns out to be riveting and IMO, the best western of all time. Appearing out of no where on the great plains, a cold drifter rides into the town of Lago and nothing will ever be the same.
Once its found out three outlaws plan on returning for revenge, the townsfolk offer him anything he wants in return for protection. Eastwood's peak and he's walking on water from start to bloody finish.
