Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by Kenneth A — 18 May 2008
A superb western with slight horror elements to it. I like how "The Stranger" identity is open to interpretation. Is he the ghost of murdered sheriff Duncan or just possibly the Devil? There are so many ways you could look at it.
Overall, the films has a good plot, great acting with some beautiful camera work and a haunting score .
