Review of High Anxiety (1977) by Nate B — 26 Aug 2008
Classic Mel Brooks. Not as funny as some of his others, but still has that Brooks clever and wit. The movie pays homage to Hitchcock, which I think is great. The bondage scene with Harvey Korman and Cloris Leachman is one of the most disturbing movie scenes I've ever seen, but hilarious at the same time.
Leachman was great in the movie, and of course Korman and Madeline Kahn did their usual good jobs for a Brooks film.
