Review of High Anxiety (1977) by Kenneth B — 30 Dec 2012
Classic Brooks, this film is stuffed with Hitchcock references and gags galore, with Brooks giving a brilliant and funny performance as Thorndyke. Korman is hilarious as always and Ron Carey or as I call him Mr 'I got it, I got it, I got it, I ain't got it' is brilliant as Brophy the valet.
Pure Brooks magic if not as good as Blazing Saddles. I also wonder how some of the so called 'Super Reviewers' got voted into that position with most giving very vague and uneducated reviews which a monkey could dream up.
