I laughed maybe a couple times or so. I'm a fan of Mel Brooks, spoof films, and Alfred Hitchcock, so I was disappointed that this wasn't better. It may have been well-received back in 1977, but I don't think it holds up very well now.
It was mostly pretty boring.
