Hesher tells us a story about a boy and father meeting a strange metal head after losing their mother/wife in a car accident. Somewhat comedic and surreal story has its moments and Gordon-Levitt definitely has a blast playing a total weirdo.
Extra points for using (old) Metallica as a soundtrack.
