Review of Herø (2001) by Hungry T — 08 May 2015

Very seldom, there is a film that is so widely appreciated it is even mentioned all across the academy and ranked amongst many fan's favorite films of the year and I HATE the film. This is one of those films.

This movie was simply weird to me. I am one to appreciate a love story and the ideas and challenges of love, but one of the biggest obstacles in doing so would be physically being together. You would dismiss someone's idea of being in love with someone they've only met on the internet wouldn't you? So why the hell is this different? I found it completely unrelatable and weird, not only in the idea of loving a computer, but the whole society and how people talked and the game the guy plays, and so much else.

And to top it off how depressing can a love story be? I hated this film. (50%).
