Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Hungry T — 13 Mar 2008
That one takes you right down the road to hell. This is a classic prison story well told and especially well acted (two gems of Randy Quaid and John Hurt in the supporting roles). The speech in the court by the main character seemed to me a little over the top, but who am I to question Oliver Stone's ability to write a good script? In that case it earned him an Oscar after all.
Seen: at home.
