Review of Hereafter (2010) by Larissa N — 20 Jul 2013

This is a film which promised a lot, but doesn't make the most of a subject as fascinating as the Afterlife. The prospect of some amazing revelation keeps you interested, but ultimately the there is no climax and the film meanders to disappointing finish, almost as if the creative team had run out of ideas.

Mat Damon also gives a rather dull and uninspiring performance. The idea though was good and has potential for a much better remake.
