Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Naheed A — 09 Nov 2012
Henry is a guy who meets a lot of people in his line of work, and murders them! This movie is odd, but the oddest thing is that it is based on a real guy, who claimed to have murdered about 600 people, as well as some other assorted outlandish claims (though many of his claims, including many adapted for the film, turned out to be false).
None of the three main characters are normal at all, and very few that Henry encounters in the film survive meeting him, he just murders everyone, even the ones he seems to like! Strange movie, not nearly as gory as I was lead to believe, but still a violent and dark film for sure.
