This movie is not as terrible as it has been made out to be by mainstream press. But it is also not as life-changing as I have been reading elsewhere. It's a really competent drama with some dark comedy.
Consistent style of direction with a decent performance by Wilson. But this movie is just so charming sometimes, it makes me want to meet the writer, not because he is paticularly brilliant but because of the way he thinks.
Overall it's one to miss, but the writer may be one to watch.
