Review of Henry Poole Is Here (2008) by Wade W — 16 May 2018
It is a decisively strong Christian film that doesn't come across as too preachy. Poole is one of those rare faith-based movies that accomplished most of what it sets out to do. The quality filmmaking and excellent acting is all here thanks to a stellar lead performance by Luke Wilson.
I was surprised at how heartwarming it really was. It's not going to win any awards or break any new ground, but it sits near the top of the faith-based genre of film. (3/5).
