Continuing with a relatively healthy build up of story, only to end up completely destroying the entire movie with some nonsense ending where nothing makes sense, and every character makes stereotypical actions.

And in some cases, the characters perform actions that are complete plotholes (ie. The girl knowingly using the puzzlebox as a ghost-buster...).
