Review of Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996) by Dylan K — 01 Jul 2018

Oh boy the three act structure has never been more obvious and choppy. Hellraiser bloodline only gets one out of five because it has my favorite pinhead quote (do I look like someone who cares what god thinks?).

as for the quality... the film is actually three movies squeezed into 85 minutes which is a recipe for disaster. and instead of making three movies about pinhead hunting a bloodline said to destroy him and hell forever, something that would actually make a good tv show.

we get a toymaker and his descendants all of whom are played by the same actor and are equally stupid. the ending of the film takes place in space and SPOILER ALERT the final descendant tricks pinhead with a hologram and kills him with the good guy configuration box (well it's called the elysium configuration box but still same thing).

honestly I wanted the franchise to stop here but then it somehow manages to get worse. moral of the story don't send slasher villains to space!!!
