Wow. Just wow. I just sat down and watched this online and wow. I'm getting the DVD tomorrow. This movie was dark, creepy and down-right terrifying. But it was one of the best horror movies if not the best up there with A Nightmare on Elm Street I've ever seen.
I don't even know where to start with this review. First thing I'll mention is the movie does not and I repeat does not focus on Pinhead (the lead cenobite.) It focuses on a girl, her husband, his daughter and the husbands brother whom she cheated on with.
He basically opened the box and the cenobites got a hold of him but he cheated them. He's a skinless zombie and every time he gets in contact with blood his skin comes back a little more. He has Julia (the wife) to help him, so she lures men to the place where they're staying and kills them and the blood goes to the brother.
It's a fantastic movie, far beyond that of a lot of 80's horror films with great acting and terrific dialogue. You have to watch this one.
