Review of Hellraiser (1987) by Wyland C — 06 Jan 2011
Meh, I saw this so I can finally understand what the fuss was about. I wasn't blown away by the story, plot or characters. But the visuals were very good practical effects, and I think they still stand up today. I just didn't find the movie engaging, and thus I wasn't scared for the characters. I don't plan on seeing the sequels.
I can only recommend this movie to people who want their horror to be visual only.
