Review of Hello Herman (2012) by Neil T — 30 Apr 2013
An act is not meaningless and every act will generate consequences and sometimes unexpected consequences. Hello Herman directed by Michelle Danner focuses on actions and how they can affect the whole environment.
That is, bullying could generate its own death, playing video games could generate the other death, and working too much could generate a misunderstood of the other members of the family, not be there for important things, because of the absence.
Michelle Danner does not propose to not act but she gives examples of what our actions could lead to. Thereby each person is responsible for their actions and that is what this movie is about: consequences.
