I feel very lucky to be in a town where Hello Herman showed in a theatre. I saw the show when it opened Friday, and had to come back for the premiere event Saturday. The movie touched many different emotions, and conveys many strong messages.

Being a mother, I found many bits exceptionally touching, and sometimes even disturbing, but that simply added to the power of the story. If you haven't seen it yet, now would be a good time. For those of you who may be inclined to do so, I might also recommend not wearing eye makeup.
