It's about a matchmaker (Barbra Streisand) who falls in love with Horace Vandergelder (Walter Matthau) and tries to get him to want to marry her. It's a good musical.
It has catchy music, and you'll be impressed by Barbra Streisand's acting, even if people thought she was too young to play the part.
The music, dancing and acting in this movie is uplifting, heartwarming, and fun to watch.
If you like worth-watching classic musicals, you'll love this one.
