Review of Hello, Dolly! (1969) by Kathy H — 08 Sep 2008
After the humans peaced out, Wall-E could've been stuck watching "Showgirls" whenever he got lonely. Instead, with "Hello, Dolly!" being the movie that was left behind, he hit the jackpot.
It's truly the nexus of musical superstars, from Louis Armstrong's cameo and Babs: full throttle, to Tommy Tune and Michael "Phantom of the Opera" Crawford, all directed by Gene Kelly.
Ridic! "Hello, Dolly!" had me at ... well... "Hello!".
