HELL is a tightly paced contemporary Western with flashes of humor as it barrels towards its inevitable heart-pounding showdown, and yet it still has room to comment on income inequality and gun control (or lack thereof since it takes place in Texas).
Bridges' Texas Ranger borrows from his Rooster Cogburn and his RIPD Marshall, but it's his best performance since Bad Blake. An instant classic.
