Review of Heist (2001) by Robert N — 04 Aug 2012
By the end, I developed twist fatigue. There had been so many layers of cons within cons, I didn't care when the last one was revealed. Anything established in the first ten minutes or ninety minutes could be undermined by something in the last 30 seconds showing that it had been set up as part of a con on members of Hackman's own gang.
By the fifth or sixth or tenth twist, it's been too much of a roller coaster to maintain excitement at yet another twist.
