This is probably closer to the original comic books, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the original. It lacked the humour of the original, and being the singular story (rather than the anthologies) made this version drag at times.
The soundtrack wasn't as good as the original: it felt a bit like the soundtrack to most video games.
Still, the animation was pretty good, and the voice work was fine.
