A fairly good film, although not one of Deepa Mehta's best by far. The subject matter was kind of interesting, but it lacked some of the charisma that some of her other films have had. Also, I was a bit unclear by the end of the movie about what had happened.
Still, pretty enjoyable overall and insightful into the lives of other cultures.
