Heaven on Earth is another stunning film from filmmaker Deepa Mehta. Tackling yet another taboo topic in society Mehta is able to explore the confusion and weight of a abusive relationship. Sometimes the interrelated story of the Cobra was a little confusing (was that snake actually in the yard? and did she actually put it around her neck?), but still deeply affective.
