What happens when your very best intentions to execute justice precipitate tragedy and expose your own fatal pod of original sin? How can we be forgiven for living badly? The confession scene is one I will never, ever forget.
The need, my own need, to receive forgiveness from one who has the power to forgive and who still loves you...well, where have we heard that theme before? Full of symbolism and aching beauty. I highly recommend for discussion.
